Dr. Koide joined the Lexington office in the summer of 1999, giving Carolina Cardiology Center a full-time presence in the Lexington
area. Born and raised in Brazil, he completed an orthopedics and traumatology residency and a cardiac surgery residency at Pan American, San Paulo, Brazil. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Metrohealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland,
Ohio. Dr. Koide is a general cardiologist with additional training in diagnostic catheterization and congestive heart failure. He was also director of
the APICE School for Mentally Retarded Children.Professional focus: General cardiologist with additional training in invasive cardiology and congestive heart failure. He speaks fluent Spanish
and Japanese.
Dr. Koide, who is single, loves tennis and is looking forward to making his home in Lexington. |
