Dr. Munley joined Carolina Cardiology Associates in 1997. After practicing medicine for 12 years in Pennsylvania, he relocated his family
and practice to Asheboro, where he serves as the lead physician for our clinic there. Dr. Munley was instrumental in introducing new cardiology services into the community of Asheboro and has worked
with Randolph Hospital on cardiology program initiatives. At Randolph Hospital, he is currently chairman of the Resource Management Committee, on the Department of Medicine, co-director of the
catheterization laboratory and on the Cardio-Pulmonary Task Force. He also serves on the board of directors for Carolina Regional Heart Center.
Professional focus: Congestive heart failure and
general and invasive cardiology. Dr. Munley also contributes his time and skills to the Merce Clinic serving indigent patients. He can often be found at any local or Greensboro hockey game.
Dr. Munley recieved his undergraduate degree fromWilkes College, Wilkes-Barre, PA., and his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College,
Philidelphia, PA. He completed his internship and residency at Hahnemann University Hospital , Philidelphia, PA. Dr. Munley's current hospital affiliations include: Randolph Hospital, Active Staff; High
